During your Stay in Kandy visit “Sri Dalada Maligawa” known as the temple of the tooth and its worth a visit when in Sri Lanka then go the the famous Cultural Dancing Show and take a visit to the Peradeniya Botanical Garden and wrap it with a shopping in Kandy or with a Spice trail.
After breakfast start off to Nuwara Eliya Day trip. En-route to the tea factory, tea plantations and the beautiful Hill side which is known as Small London “Nuwara Eliya”; Its a lovely cold town with a huge Race Course and Golf Course located close to the town, and there are plenty of hotels and cottages with variety. Galle Fort, in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka.
Mirissa is the best places if you are interested in seeing Whales & Dolphins. During November to April is the best season to go Dolphin Watching off Kalpitiya. Dolphins are regularly spotted on whale watching trips organized from ‘Mirissa’ and ‘Dondra head’ on the south coast. It was once recorded in a BBC documentary that 30 different blue whales were spotted; So if you are in the correct time, go get yourself packed to set off to Kalpitiya or Mirissa to experience a breathtaking dolphin and whale watching experience.
